Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the IsoMod platform and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by IsoMod ("IsoMod", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

IsoMod is an ISO compliance and field service management platform designed for organisations that maintain, service, or certify equipment. The Service includes work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, quality management system (QMS) workflows (CAPA, internal audits, complaints), time tracking, document control, and associated mobile applications.

IsoMod operates as a single-tenant SaaS product. Each subscribing organisation receives a dedicated hosted instance.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To access the Service, each user must have a valid account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Ensuring that all users you invite to your organisation comply with these Terms.
  • Promptly notifying us at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account.

Users must be at least 18 years old. Accounts are for individual use and may not be shared between multiple people.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal usage or disrupts service availability.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without notice.

4. Intellectual Property

The IsoMod platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is the exclusive property of IsoMod and is protected by Belgian and international intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service solely for your internal business operations during the term of your subscription.

5. Data Ownership

You own your data. All content, records, documents, and operational data that you or your users create within the Service remain your property. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.

You grant IsoMod a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service to you. We will not access, use, or disclose your data except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.

Upon contract termination, you may request an export of your data in standard formats (JSON/CSV) within 30 days of termination. After this period, your data will be securely deleted.

6. Service Availability and SLA

We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the web platform, excluding scheduled maintenance windows. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance via email or in-app notification.

We provide the Service on an "as is" basis. While we make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure availability and reliability, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.

In the event of a service outage exceeding 4 consecutive hours within a calendar month, affected subscribers may request a pro-rated service credit for the affected period by contacting [email protected].

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IsoMod shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

IsoMod's total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to IsoMod in the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms and the associated subscription with 30 days' written notice. IsoMod may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms and fail to cure the breach within 7 days of written notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 4, 5, 7, 9, and 10 survive termination.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Belgian law, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. The courts of Brussels, Belgium have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith through direct negotiation for a period of 30 days.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version is always available at /terms.
